Still breathing in the quiet light.

Fine art photographer exploring the quiet distance between self and the world.

Artist Statement

Photography is a drawing made of light.
What, then, arises between a photograph and myself?

It is my quiet attempt to reach out and touch the world.
My photographs are projections of emotion,

and at the same time,

they are a record of the subtle, certain sense of connection

that emerges when I gently align myself with this world.
Emotion rises from the layers of the self,

shaped by a past that extends into the present.

What holds those layers together
is the trust that others have offered me along the way.
Through my work,

I hope to leave behind small traces of a wish—

a wish to touch the world—

and place them softly in the light.
